Sega 32x Game Genie Codes Version 1.0 Sept 4, 2022 UPDATE: If you patch any of these codes into your 32X ROM and the game doesn't run, you'll need to patch this code into the ROM as well (thanks to Chilly Willy for the info on this): AAAT-AAER Enable code (Probably only needed if the game won't run when using these codes). Game Genie codes..... DAHA-AADY Access secret levels! Here's how: Just set the level to 23 or 24 and start the game. I think level 23 is a continuation of another level (it's VERY difficult), but level 24 is a complete secret level. Levels 16 through 22 just give you an error message. ====================================================== Knuckles Chaotix 32x NOTES: These codes will probably not work on a real 32X, but they work fine with emulators like Gens ver 2.10, and Kega Fusion ver 3.63. There are 2 versions of this game. Some of the codes below have codes for both versions. (5 = NTSC (JU), A = PAL) Game Genie codes..... *** NEW CODES *** Have only been tested on JU version (NTSC). CJ2A-EA7T Invincibility for main/primary character. CJ2A-EA8R Invincibility for partner/secondary character. RY2A-E6ZT Invincibility for both characters (main character and partner). Does not work in battle with Metal Sonic in the stage select room. AM4T-AA4W Invincibility for both characters against Metal Sonic (one of the final battles in the stage select room). RFFA-C6Y8 Automatically collect all power-ups on screen by pressing the C button (Jump). SAWA-CA5W Collect some rings from anywhere above you, and collect some rings as many times as you want (at least one ring in each group won't disappear when you collect them). You can quickly get 255 rings and as many points as you want just by standing next to, or underneath the ring(s) that don't disappear. AM8T-AA8J Don't lose rings when hit (main character). RGTA-A6TW Always have Speed Shoes. BWFA-EA8W + ALFT-EA72 + ALKT-EA4T Always have slow Combi Catcher (allows you to easily pick any charcter you want). AK7A-EA88 Always have slow Stage Select (allows you to easily pick which stage you want). DX1T-GAFC Start a new game as Espio (you are normally forced to start as Knuckles). AD1T-GAFC Start a new game as Mighty (you are normally forced to start as Knuckles). BCNT-FA4L + RGNT-E6WN Always get Knuckles as your partner in the Combi Catcher. You can have Knuckles as your main character and as your partner if you'd like. ACNT-FA4L + RGNT-E6WN Always get Mighty as your partner in the Combi Catcher. AWNT-FA4L + RGNT-E6WN Always get the deleted/hidden character as your partner in the Combi Catcher. ALZA-AA6J If you lose your partner, he won't return for the rest of the level (you can play solo). I don't know if all of the levels can be finished solo. Although I didn't notice any, it's possible that this code could have unknown side effects. BD0T-AA6W + D51A-AA90 + D50T-AA42 + BD1T-AA3T Walk thru walls. Will sometimes warp up to ledge above. Can get stuck, so best to use for exploring or fun. First 2 codes are for main character, last 2 codes are for your partner. Old Codes .... AC9A-AAHT Knuckles glides level. Z40T-BDHE Knuckles glides upwards. B49A-AAGJ Knuckles moves faster. C49A-AAGJ Knuckles moves much faster. AW6T-AA8Y Vector the Crocodile can jump in mid-air as many times as you want (multi-jump). AC9A-BAGR Knuckles has mega jump. Has only been tested on 5/NTSC version. RE8T-A6XN + AN8T-AAE0 Enable level select. At the main screen, pick "Stage Select" and press Start. You can pick any level, any time (morning, night, etc), any character (including a mystery character), any partner, and 1 or 2 players. The level select and debugger codes can be used together. Has only been tested on the 5/NTSC version. RFHA-A6TY + RFHA-A6W8 + AJLT-CA8W Enable debugger. To activate the debugger, just press "START" anytime while you're playing. You can use the directional buttons to move anywhere in the level. The debugger and level select codes can be used together. Has only been tested on the 5/NTSC version. AKGA-AA3L Keep rings between levels. Only for the 5/NTSC version. SAPT-CNF2 Get 10 rings everytime you call your partner (press A). Don't use with the "It doesn't cost any rings to call your partner" code below (AAPT-CAF4). Only works on the 5/NTSC version. SAPT-CNF2 + NTPT-CAF4 Get 100 rings everytime you call your partner (press A). Don't use with the "It doesn't cost any rings to call your partner" code below (AAPT-CAF4). Only works on the 5/NTSC version. *UPDATED CODE* (the old code didn't work on all levels). AEYA-CAG2 + AEDA-CADJ + AEET-CABA You only have to have 1 ring to access the special/bonus stages at the end of levels. You normally need 50 rings. Only works on the 5/NTSC version. AAPT-CAF4 It doesn't cost any rings to call your partner (it usually costs 10 rings). Only for the 5/NTSC version. BC2A-EB2L This code does 2 things: First, it gives you infinite time, and 2nd, it makes your ring count constantly increase! If you're hit and you lose all your rings, your ring count will instantly start to go back up, even if you don't touch any rings. A VERY useful code. (This is for the "5/NTSC" version of the game). BC2A-EB7A This code does 2 things: First, it gives you infinite time, and 2nd, it makes your ring count constantly increase! If you're hit and you lose all your rings, your ring count will instantly start to go back up, even if you don't touch any rings. A VERY useful code. (This is for the "A/PAL" version of the game). AL2A-EA2J Infinite time (this is for the "5/NTSC" version of the game). AL2A-EA68 Infinite time (this is for the "A/PAL" version of the game). You can easily modify the codes below to make rings worth more than 4. Just convert the GG code to hex, then change the instruction from 5878 to 5A78 = 5, 5C78 = 6, 5E78 = 7, 5078 = 8. (8 is as high as you can go). SAXT-DTWA Rings are worth 4. (this is for the "5/NTSC" version of the game). SAXT-DTWW Rings are worth 4. (this is for the "A/PAL" version of the game). --PAR codes (only tested with Gens, may not work with Kega Fusion...... FFFDD6:FF Enable Slow Stage Select. FFFDD7:FF Enable Slow Combi Catcher. FFFFEE:FF00 Enable level select. Pick "Stage Select" at the main screen. FFFFEC:FF00 Enable debugger. Press "START" anytime while your playing to activate the debugger. Use the directional keys to move anywhere in the level. FFE008:00FF Always have 255 rings. If you're just using the codes in an emulator, you do not need to use these codes: 00018E:0000, 00083C:4E71. Game Genie codes..... *** NEW CODES *** 9A6A-BCHT + 9T6A-BBSW + CA9T-AAG2 Level select. Go to the Option Menu and use the PCM Test number to select which stage and mission you want to start on, then exit the Option screen and start the game. Here's how it works: If you select PCM number 1, you will start on Stage 1, Mission 2. If you select PCM number 2, you will start on Stage 1, Mission 3. If you select PCM number 3, you'll start you on Stage 2, Mission 1, and so on. The PCM Test number will now only go up to number 0F (hex), which is the last mission in the game (Stage 6, Mission 3). Old Codes.... 26MT-CAFN Start each mission with 199 power (instead of 100). 8YMT-ACCE Start each mission with 500 seconds (instead of 360). TYMT-AGCE Start each mission with 900 seconds (instead of 360). FA6T-AAE2 Start a new game with the Laser (instead of Chain gun), and anytime you get the free Chain gun in the shop, you'll get the Laser instead. DA6T-AAE2 + AJ6T-AAFA Start a new game with the level 3 Mega Chain gun (instead of level 1 Chain gun), and anytime you get the free Chain gun in the shop, you'll get the level 3 Mega Chain gun instead. DEKA-AAH8 Get 25 Flying Mines (instead of 3). GJKA-AAHL Get 50 ammo for Missile Launcher (instead of 4). HEBT-DEZJ Infinite ammo for Missile Launcher. AVXT-AA3G Infinite ammo for Grenade Cannon and Hyper G. Cannon. AA7A-AAE2 Don't get charged for the Missile Launcher. Even though you still have to have enough points to buy it, the points are never actually subtracted from your total when you exit the shop. AA6T-AAGR Don't get charged for the Mega Chain Gun. Even though you still have to have enough points to buy it, the points are never actually subtracted from your total when you exit the shop. AA7A-AAEG Don't get charged for the Hyper G. Cannon. Even though you still have to have enough points to buy it, the points are never actually subtracted from your total when you exit the shop. ABKA-AAC6 Don't get charged for the Extra Armor. Even though you still have to have enough points to buy it, the points are never actually subtracted from your total when you exit the shop. ATET-CA9R + ATHA-CA7R Almost complete protection from enemies. Use with "Always have extra armor" code for complete protection from enemies. AD8A-AA9W Always have "Extra Armor". This lets you ram enemies without taking damage. TAMT-D97Y Walk faster. Will let you walk as fast as the "Extra Speed" option in the shop. JAMT-D97Y Walk much faster. Buying "Extra Speed" in the shop will disable this code. JAMT-D98R Run faster than you normally would when you double tap the directional pad. AAMT-D98R Run MUCH faster than you normally would when you double tap the directional pad. HE6A-BL1T Start on stage 2, mission 1. HE6A-BE1T Start on stage 3, mission 1. HE6A-BN1T Start on stage 4, mission 1. HE6A-BY1T Start on stage 5, mission 1. HE6A-BA1T Start on stage 6, mission 1. AXCT-AA62 Don't die from damage. AT4T-AA4N Infinite continues. FA4T-AGLY If you die, you will get $9000 on the first continue, $18,000 on the second continue, etc (instead of $1000, $2000). SHDT-BEVJ Infinite time (timer counts up instead of down). PAR codes..... FFB0A0:0264 3-in-1 code! 1) Infinite energy, 2) Radar never gets damaged, 3) Infinite continues. These codes have only been tested on the "Jan 1995" version of the game. Game Genie codes.... *4 NEW CODES* AD3T-AAZE High Jump. Only works when you jump straight up. AD3T-AAPE Super high jump. Only works when you jump straight up. AD5A-BAM0 Jump farther across the screen. Only works on "angled" jumps. AD5A-BTD0 Jump across the entire length of the screen. Only works on "angled" jumps. RGTT-A6T2 Enable secret cheat menu! At the title screen, select "Options", then select "Test Modes". B2LT-DE4J Always fight Smoke. B6LT-DE4J Always fight Noob Saibot. CALT-DE4J Always fight Jade. A5WA-AJHY Gives you more time to do fatalities. ADZT-CA4C + AC7T-CA6E You will automatically do a fatality. When it says "Finish Him", don't press any buttons, and your player should do a fatality automatically. It worked about 90% of the time for me. SDVT-BJT6 You only have to win one fight to win the match, but the CPU still has to win two. AMVT-AA3N The CPU will never win the match. NOTE: If you get to round 5, the game will automatically go to the "Game Over" screen. I'm guessing this is programming left over from the arcade version of the game. PAR codes..... FFB956:0037 Infinite time to do a fatality, babality, or friendship. FFF730:000x Opponent selector. Replace "x" with any number from 1 to F to decide who you fight against (F = Shao Kahn). FFF72E:000x Background selector. Replace "x" with any number from 0 to A to decide where you fight. FFED00:xxxx Cheat selector. Replace "xxxx" with the numbers below to decide which cheat you want. 0002 = Player 1 is invincible. 0010 = Only takes one hit to kill player 2 (or CPU). 0012 = Player 1 is invincible, and it only takes one hit to kill player 2 (or CPU). 0080 = CPU will always do a fatality if it wins the match. 0100 = CPU will always do a friendship if it wins the match. 0200 = CPU will always do a babality if it wins the match. 00D8 = CPU controls both players, and almost always does a fatality. After you press C, press Up or Down to select the level, then make sure the boomerang is over "Start" and press Start. 8GMT-LEHG Press B at the title screen to play the original Atari 2600 version of Pitfall. Shield number will look funny. FF2DE0:6002 *** NEW CODE *** Infinite shields (ie. infinite energy). Note that this looks like a PAR code, but because of the way the 32x works, it is actually an assembly/ROM type code. If you'd like to hack this code into your ROM, go to ROM address $085DDE and change the 91B8 to 6002, although it's not necessary. SC9A-D0V8 *** NEW CODE *** Kill 5 Tie Fighters for every 1 you shoot down. This allows you to finish the levels faster. AGYA-AGB8 *** NEW CODE *** Start each level with 300 seconds (instead of 200).
