Version 1.0 = Initial public release (9/23/2026)
Version 1.1 = Added new page for better enemy/boss editing (10/9/2026)

Version 1.1 update details:
Have added a new page where you can edit enemies and bosses using percentages. This fixes an issue where enemies like Highlands have lots of occurrences in the ROM, and many of them have different stats. Before, the editor would patch all of them with the same exact stats that you entered (not good for game balance). Now, the editor will stop at each occurrance and adjust stats depending on what percentage you entered for each stat. This keeps the enemy stats proportional/balanced in the game.

I currently have the maximum percentage increases for stats and potch set to 200% (this doubles the stat/amount), and 300% increase for drop rates (drop rates won't go any higher than 100%).

Remember that if you don't want a stat changed when patching, just leave it's percentage at zero.

This is a ROM/ISO editor for the USA version of Suikoden 2 on the PlayStation 1. The correct serial number is: SLUS-00958

The editor does not make a backup copy of your ROM/ISO, so make sure to make your own copy if you want one.

This editor does PS1 editing a little different than my previous PS1 editors. When you open your PS1 ROM, it removes all of the Error Correction Code (ECC) used on the disc. What's left is 100% of the game data, which makes editing much easier. This temporary stripped down ROM is what you'll actually be editing. The ECC data was used to try and fix any errors on the disc (most likely because of scratches). When you're finished editing, the editor will rebuild your ROM with everything you edited. I've tested an edited ROM with DuckStation, No$PSX, and Psxjin and didn't have any problems. Although it hasn't been tested with this specific editor, I've been told that Mednafen in general may not like it if the ECC data doesn't match the newly edited sector checksum values.

Here's a link with some detailed info on the editor:

Shouldn't need any additional files if you're using Windows. It uses the .net framework.
